A new 3D solar cell that would revolutionize the solar industry have been designed. The amazing thing about the news is that the inventor of the novel solar panel is a 12-year-old student from Beaverton, Oregon that believes his 3D solar cell will bring solar power to a higher place.

Scientists from the Kyushu University in Japan have designed a massive floating power plant that will combine photovoltaic arrays with windmills.
