Nowadays, most of the people want to listen to music everywhere they go as it helps us not to get bored. I know that there are many of you who own an iPod and like to ride their bike to relax. Well, this bike concept called Polygon features an iPod dock and you will listen to your favorite music while riding.

Polygon was designed by Reindy Allendra and it should be a means of transportation of the future when people will prefer bikes rather than cars as it would do great for their health.

Thanks to an integrated charger, the iPod will be powered by the energy that results from your riding. Also, you can see the screen at-a-glance and you don’t have to touch the gadget as the controls are positioned on the handlebar.

In conclusion, I have to say that the Polygon looks great and I think that it will see the sunlight the design is feasible and it shouldn’t be so hard to develop lots of bikes like this.

bu where is the chain, or belt, or shaft? how will you actually make i move? Seat seems realy far back from the pedals and not easily adjustable. Looks great, but doesn’t look really feasible.

1. Riding position is impossible. Nobody can ride with their feet and hands so far forward. The visual look of this bike is not desireable, since it makes the bike useless.
2. Integrated iPod dock becomes obsolete as soon as Apple stops making that specific iPod version. The integration is not a desireable feature, since it makes this bike less useful.
3. While listening to an iPod during a bike ride may be “relaxing” it is also a life threatening traffic hazard. The integration is not a desireable feature since it makes this design less useful.

Something for people who buy an expensive bike and keep it in their garage and don’t ride.
I have an iPod dock, but we call them pockets round here.

That bike is concentrated stupid. The riding position makes absolutely no sense and the silly handlebars combined with the fork geometry make for horrible controls. Handlebar mounted ipod controls are a pretty good idea though. But really, this bike just looks like the designer has never ridden a bicycle before.

Music on a bike doesn’t make you relax enough to be life threatening, or else it would be banned in cars. I have wimpy speaker on my bike, and I would buy a bike that had sound capabilities. Ipod already makes devices that fit outdated iPods into new products, so don’t worry about that.
The design looks way cool, but not practical. It looks like an apple product, if you want something changed, you have to buy a new one. Position looks stupid, but I’m not sure because of the scale of things. The pedals look tiny, but adjustable in the first pic. It definetly has the same feel as a concept car, but needs to have a picture of someone riding it to tell if it’s usable.
It doesn’t look like it can change gears, or like it even has gears. If they can work out the problems, I will definetly buy this bike, but the most important parts of a bike are the bike parts, and this thing seems to be lacking in that department. I will keep a tab on this, cuz I want the finished product.
