Here is a motorcycle concept called Mantis and that could draw everybody’s attention while you are riding it. The bike has a simple, but attractive design and it’s based on the chopper style. There is only one thing that I don’t understand - the hubless wheels. How on Earth will the bike will move?

The motorcycle appears to be very aerodynamic therefore it could be very fast, however, I don’t know how safe will be as I am still anxious to see those hubless wheels in action. The Mantis motorcycle concept was designed by Mike Hansen and I hope that someday I will ride this good-looking bike.

the rear wheel will be done using a system pioneered by billy lane and he explains it on an ep of biker build off (i think) check it out on youtube
if you look at the 3rd image you can see a reflection on the front wheel which suggests it will be done with a transparent plastic centre, first time i seen this was on a bike in last months streetfighters magazine issue 177 (UK mag)
just checked the issue out it was done by an american company called custom sportsbike concepts (www.cscbikes.com) for a company called lifted research company.
they done it with the rear and didnt do anything with the front, but thats probably how it is achieved.
