Future Systems have designed a Concert and Congress Center in ?eské Bud?jovic, a city in Czech Republic. The new building was named after the famous Czech composer Antonín Dvo?ák. The Antonín Dvo?ák Concert and Congress Center will have a philharmonic which will he able to host up to 1000 people and a chamber music which will seat 400 people.

When I first saw the design of the Antonín Dvo?ák Center the first thing that crossed my mind was the octopus-looking opera singer from The Fifth Element performing on the stage. A window behind the musicians was added to the futuristic-looking construction to allow for spectacular views in to the park behind the building.

Though the shape of the walls is very odd the acoustics are said to be extraordinary. Another odd thing about the Center is that it will be build on the place of an old military site showing a the Czech concern about culture.
