“Why there is no Ferrari motorcycle?” This is the question that Israeli designer Amir Glinik asked himself then he decided to create one. You can see from the pictures that the motorcycle is simply astonishing and you know that you want one.

The Ferrari Motorcycle will feature a Ferrari V4 Integrated Drive Unit, 1953 handlebars and rear suspensions, brakes with dual sculpted calipers, and a F16-inspired throttle quadrant. The motorcycle will be managed via a full-touchscreen and “the heart of the controlling system is based on a Ferrari engine management computer” which means that it should be powerful and safe in the same time.

“Vintage and modern Ferrari projects influence my design. It’s a mix of what I find to be the best Ferrari lines with the latest technology I could think of in terms of engine, gear and driving management. Preserving Ferrari lines and history, the aim is to create a bike with normal dimensions using existing Ferrari technology; to take the ease of service as a factor while thinking about low profile and CG. To produce a practical machine and not in any way a ‘Star Wars’ future ride,” said designer Amir Glinik.

For the moment there is no word on pricing and availability, however, I think that the Ferrari Motorcycle will be ready in a few years at a price that only a few can afford.

It’s junk, as far as being a real sportbike goes.

OK, look, wheelbase matters. Shorter is better. That’s one factor in turning quick. You also need to get the engine as close to the FRONT wheel as possible. And finally, you want your weight down low so you can flop it over faster.

This two-legged pig violates all three basics. I’m sure it’s got power for miles but the engine position says the power will be unusable in a straight line - you’ll get dumped straight over backwards the first time you launch it hard. The pipes weigh a lot and they’re way up on top of the rear wheel, adding to the mass up high.

Plus there’s not enough suspension travel on the front end.

Bitchin’ looks but if you know how a bike really works, this thing says “turkey” all the way.

My ride: Buell ‘97 S3 Thunderbolt, Axtell 1250 ceramic barrels, 10.5:1 forged domed race pistons, 2004 Buell XB heads with oversize ported valves, Mikuni42 carb, KT Engineering race pipe dumping to a Supertrapp. Doesn’t have the power that thing would have but it’ll eat that thing alive in the corners…

WHoever designed this does not deserve to be working at ferrari.

It looks like a giant, red condom.

If Ferrari made a bike it would be one that handled and would be designed for Italian roads not the drag strip!

Not like it at all! It’s still just computer generated image but it’s like a big RED BRICK….(on wheels)
No Dinamic sport and exiting look as F1!!!

Its a hot looking bike. The seat looks like you could slide off and no knee grips. I like the big tire out front. Id give it a good ride. P.S Put some ape hangers on it……………..
