Dream Car 123 - The Pyramid-Shaped Electric Car

Dream Car 123

In the past we’ve seen from crazy environmentally-friendly concept cars of the future. Well, here is one car which is NOT a concept and which is powered by 80 lead-acid batteries. The vehicle is called Dream Car 123 and it was designed by Illinois-based inventor, Greg Zanis.

The vehicle can manage 240 miles of driving for a cost of $5 and it reaches speeds of 40 mph. We like the Dream Car 123 because it’s already on the roads, not like those sophisticated concept that will never see the sunlight.

Greg’s Dream Car needs to be charged for 3.5 hours and then is ready to go. Although the pyramid shape is not exactly the most attractive design for a car, the Dream Car draws the attention by being able to make a 360-degree turn.

The inventor makes a promise to all of us by saying that the next versions of the Dream Car 123 will reach speeds of 200mph and that it will be run on lithium batteries that will make the car to run 2 to 4 times more than it does now.

In order to complete the car, Zanis needed $8,000, but I think it was worth every cent. The inventor hopes to mass-produce the Dream Car 123 in a few years and he will sell these with $24,000 a piece. Probably, he will make it better and more attractive, however, it seems like the price could drop to $16,000.

Hmm, don’t know what to say about that, but in the mean time check out the picture and the videos to see the Dream Car 123 in action.
