Although this car didn’t make it to the 29 finalists of the 2008 Peugeot Design Contest, I think that it deserved some attention because it could be a car of the future thanks to its nice design and also because it’s a green car. The three-wheeled concept car is called Bimotrik and it was designed by Jonathan Mahieddine.

Bimotrik is powered by a bio fuel cell which is excellent, though the designer could have included some solar panels as an alternative energy source. Being a mixture between a bike and a car, the vehicle should proove quite good for the crowded metropolitan roads.

Based on a new kind of bo fuel which derives energy in the form of hydrogen and electricity as the bacteria feed on impure water, it may be possible to keep the car independent of other sources of energy.

Bimotrik has his engine on the front, exactly like a car, although the design it is based on a three wheel platform. Another plus for this concept is that it will be easy to get into it, thanks to its wing-like doors (lambo style). Bimotrik is also easy to drive because of its seering system: two handles on the front on the front of the car.

I’m looking forward to see the concept on street though it may never see the sun light beacause it lacks storage space. Anyway I personaly think it’s fun to drive such a car and you can be confident you will attract other’s attention.
