Here is the most unusual soccer stadiums of all - world’s first underground stadium which will be build in Doha, Qatar. This soccer stadium is called The Wall and will also be world’s first open-air, air-conditioned stadium. The Wall was designed by MZ & Partners Architects and it should be completed by 2010.

The construction hasn’t even started and already the stadium has a nickname - “The Laptop” and if you look at it from above you can see why. The Wall will not feature floodlights therefore the lighting will be integrated in the surrounding architecture.

The Wall will have a capacity of 11,000 seatings and this is kind of small for a soccer stadium and for a World Cup as Qatar are trying to host the 2018 World Cup.
