It seems like not only Middle Eastern countries are building for themselves futuristic and intriguing skyscrapers as in New York City a new such structure will make its appearance soon. The 56 Leonard Street will not be as tall as the Burj Dubai, but it will surely look great.

Its shape is just so bizarre, however, I’m sure that people will like it. The 56 Leonard Street was designed by Swiss-based architects, Herzog & de Meuron, and it will feature 56-stories which will provide space for 145 residential homes.

The structure will be completed sometime 2010 and at the base of the 56 Leonard Street, people will be able to admire a special sculpture created by Anish Kapoor.
