The Nokia N85 is now available so it’s a good opportunity to remind us what the Finnish company prepared for us with this new cellphone. The N85 is a two-way slider which measures 103×50x16.0mm and it weighs 128 grams. The screen is a 2.6-inch QVGA OLED display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, brightness control, and ambient light detector.
Like other Nokia cellphones, the keypad is numeric, also there are cover, short slide, and multimedia keys. For the moment, the N85 is available in only one color - Copper. The handset will be smaller and cheaper than the N96, but the list of specs is impressing with all key features included.
Micro-USB connector, USB 2.0, 3.5 mm jack, Symbian v9.3 OS, 74 MB internal dynamic memory, 78 MB internal NAND flash memory, microSD card slot up to 8GB, Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, 3.6Mbps HSDPA, WLAN 802.11b / 802.11g, Bluetooth 2.0, Built-in GPS, Nokia Maps 2.0, Java support and web browsing are only a few of Nokia’s N85 features.
I shouldn’t forget about the two cameras, one 5 megapixel camera with CMOS sensor, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, dual-LED Flash, and a 20 x digital zoom, while the other one is specially designed for video calls.
The battery life is satisfying enough with 7 hours of talk time and 363 hours in standy. The Nokia N85 is available for a price of €450. Well, hurry up and get it and tell us how it works!
